Suppose your booking screenshot says “Lisbon apartment” and “Check-in from 15:00.” You also have a screenshot of the museum’s opening hours. When you arrive, you need the check-in time.
Save selected screenshots in Reloggly without filing
In a trip album, you choose which collection each image belongs to. In Reloggly, selected screenshots join the same searchable inbox as your other saved information. Use this route when you want to save an image without deciding where to file it.
Once Reloggly is set up, open Inbox. Uploading an image requires an internet connection. Tap the paperclip, select the booking screenshot, then tap the Send button with the paper-plane icon. The saved item appears in your feed. Save the museum screenshot the same way; neither image needs a title or caption.
When you arrive in Lisbon, open Inbox and type Lisbon apartment check-in into the search field beside the magnifying glass. Results update as you type. Review the matching items and open the booking screenshot to read the check-in time. The search uses material you saved; it does not search the rest of your phone’s gallery. Newly saved images need processing before their contents can be searched.
If your reason for keeping an image is missing from it, add that context when useful. For example, “Museum Marta recommended” records a recommendation the screenshot itself may not contain.
On iPhone: create the album in Photos
These steps use the iOS 26 layout.
- Find the images in Photos → Collections → Media Types → Screenshots. Identify the ones for your trip.
- Return to Collections → Albums, tap +, then New Album.
- Name it Lisbon — October. Add your chosen screenshots using the photo picker and choose an image for the album cover.
- Tap Create.
The album is now under Photos → Collections → Albums → Lisbon — October. That is the place to open when you need the trip information. Apple’s screenshot location and album instructions.
To add the next screenshot, open the album and tap + after the last image. Select the new screenshot and tap Done. Apple’s add-to-album steps.
On Android: create the album in Google Photos
This route stores the selected screenshots in your Google Photos account. To check whether an image is already uploaded, open it and check its backup status under … → About → Details.
- Open Google Photos, sign in, and go to Collections → On this device → Screenshots.
- Touch and hold one trip screenshot, then select the others.
- If those images are only on your phone, you can upload just the selected images with Back up. This saves them to your Google Account; it does not require enabling backup for the whole Screenshots folder. Wait for the upload to finish, then select the images again.
- Tap Add to album, give the new album the title Lisbon — October, and tap Done.
Open it later through Collections → Albums → My albums → Lisbon — October. To add another screenshot, first use step 3 if it is only on your phone. Then open the album, tap Add to album, select the image, and tap Done. Google’s screenshot location, selected-image backup, and album instructions.
Remove a screenshot from the album without deleting it
Adding an image to an album leaves it in your photo library too. Seeing it in both places is expected: the album groups existing images.
- iPhone: open the album, touch and hold the unwanted image, then choose Remove from Album. Apple’s removal instructions.
- Google Photos: open the album, tap … → Edit album, use the Remove control on the image, then tap Done. Google’s removal instructions.
Those actions change the album’s contents while keeping the screenshot in your library. Deleting the image from the library is different: an album does not keep a separate copy that protects it from deletion. See the deletion guidance for Apple Photos and Google Photos.
